Robert Hosea of Pasq Co, farmer, “in Con’ of 30 lbs in pork, at s45 per barrel,” pd by David Hufton of Perq, farmer—sold 75a on South Side of Little River, at the mouth of a branch, out of Deep Creek Swamp, part of a grt to Isaac Albertson, Aug 19, 1719, & sold by him to John Hufton, Jan 17, 1722/3. Jacob Mullen, of Berkeley Parish; Perq Co, Planter—for £30 pd by George Layden of same, sold 50a, on west side of Suttons Creek, adj Peter Albertson, part of a “patent to Albert Albertson dec'd, May 22, 1694,” which was divided & laid off to his brother Nathaniel Albertson, & by him sold to Nathaniel Nicholson, & became due sd Mullen by marriage with Sarah only dau of sd Nicholson. John Hosea of Pasquotank, planter—to Francis Layden of Perq, planter—for £60 sold 210a on So East Side of Deep Creek, adj Albert Albertson, John Barclift, & James Foster, “part of 260a grt unto Thomas Commander, Dec 6, 1720, & by him conveyed to Robert Hosea Oct 8, 1723, & from sd Robert to his son Robert by deed of gift April 21, 1735, & from sd Robert to his brother William Hosea Jan 14, 1741, & from sd William to his brother Abraham Hosea Oct 20, 1745, & from sd Abraham to Joseph Hosea, & from him to sd John.” Mar 27, 1753.
