The Last Will and Testament of William Lafayette Crane, Sr.Filed on 10 or 11 Feb 1866Houston, Texas County, Missouri November 8, 1865In the name of God, Amen. I, William L. Crane, Sr. of the County of Miller and State of Missouri, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make constitute and declare this my last will and testament.It is my wish that all my just debts be paid, 2nd, I will and bequest unto my wife, Rachel Jane Crane, all the following named property, viz., 300 acres of land situated in Miller County, State of Missouri, all my farming implements together with all live stock consisting of cattle, horses, hogs and sheep. Also fifty dollars loaned money with all the household functions belonging to me. It is my wish that all the above named property be held and owned by my wife until her death when it is my will that it be equally divided among George W. Crane, Wm. Lafayette Crane, John Crane, Rebecca Ann Crane, my children and lawful heirs at law.
